	 2013 was not an easy year for Russian railway transport. Russian Railways (RZD) carried 1.237 billion tonnes of freight in 2013, a 2.8% decline on the previous year. Freight turnover also fell by 1.2% compared with 2012 amounting to 2,195.8 billion tonne-km, although freight turnover including empty running actually increased by 1.1% year-on-year to 2,812.8 billion tonne-km. The average distance of a loaded run also increased by 2% compared with 2012 to 1,574.9 km. The figures were similarly mixed for passenger traffic. RZD carried a total of 1.081 billion passengers in 2013, a 2.1% increase over 2012. However, despite suburban services reporting a 3% increase in passengers to 970.1 million, long-distance passenger traffic fell by 5% year-on-year to 110.7 million passengers, meaning that overall passenger traffic decreased by 4% compared with 2012 to 138.4 billion passenger-km.

Using IPEM indices to monitor Russian industry development in the second quarter of 2014

In 2008, in an effort to improve measurements and to offer a greater understanding of the impact of economic recessions on Russian industry, the Institute of Natural Monopolies Research (IPEM), inspired by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, developed two indices to act as an alternative to the Industrial Production Index (IPI) provided by the Federal Service for National Statistics (Rosstat). IPEM-Production and IPEM-Demand are based on analyses of electrical energy consumption and railfreight volume data. These up-to-date and highly reliable indices do not have many of the drawbacks of IPI and are proven to offer significant value even during economically stable times. In addition, by comparing the dynamics of the production and demand indices, it is possible to accurately assess the probability of an economic and/or industrial downturn occurring.

Russia’s railway services market reacts to significant challenges

2013 was not an easy year for Russian railway transport. Russian Railways (RZD) carried 1.237 billion tonnes of freight in 2013, a 2.8% decline on the previous year. Freight turnover also fell by 1.2% compared with 2012 amounting to 2,195.8 billion tonne-km, although freight turnover including empty running actually increased by 1.1% year-on-year to 2,812.8 billion tonne-km. The average distance of a loaded run also increased by 2% compared with 2012 to 1,574.9 km. The figures were similarly mixed for passenger traffic. RZD carried a total of 1.081 billion passengers in 2013, a 2.1% increase over 2012. However, despite suburban services reporting a 3% increase in passengers to 970.1 million, long-distance passenger traffic fell by 5% year-on-year to 110.7 million passengers, meaning that overall passenger traffic decreased by 4% compared with 2012 to 138.4 billion passenger-km.

The future of Russian Railway Industry

As the Russian and global economies continue to recover from the 2008 global economic crisis, Russia’s railway industry has similarly entered a phase of rehabilitation and renewal. Various measures are now underway to refurbish and renew the country’s rolling stock fleet with the latest state-of-the-art solutions, while a need to answer the increasing demands of service users, as well as the desire to develop competitive domestic products, are all spurring the growth of a revitalised domestic railway sector. However, while the measures taken have enabled some sectors and companies to return to pre-crisis output levels, many companies are struggling to match previous levels of growth.

About new railway technical regulation system in the Custom Union

On August 2, 2014 uniform technical regulations for the operation of railway vehicles came into effect in the Custom Union member-states of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Under the regulation system, a certificate or declaration of compliance is issued by an authorized agency, eliminating the need for additional inspections in each of the member states. The system is supported through a common register of issued and filed certificates and declarations as well as a shared technical regulation database.

The Experience of launching Sapsan and Allegro highspeed trains in Russia

It is impossible to imagine railways in the 21st century without high-speed traffic. Russia has made good progress since it launched its inaugural high-speed project, the deployment of high-speed Sapsan trains between Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Nizhniy Novgorod in 2009 and 2010, which reduced the journey times between the cities significantly. This was subsequently followed by the introduction of the Allegro high-speed service between Saint Petersburg and Helsinki in December 2010. With high occupancy rates on these services, more and more passengers are reaping the benefits of the advanced method of travel, which boasts high-levels of service and reasonable fares.

DP-M: A New-Generation Russian DMU

Metrowagonmash, a subsidiary of Transmashholding JSC, which is located in Mytishchi, near Moscow, has produced railway rolling stock products since it was founded in 1987. In 2013, the plant diversified its product range by introducing its DP-M diesel-multiple unit (DMU). Automatic Driving Systems for Locomotives

Preventive measures designed to improve traffic safety and reduce energy consumption from traction, including automotive processes that eliminate human error, have always warranted special attention. The inaugural intelligently control ‘automatic driving’ solution for rolling stock traction dates back to 1957, when the first trial autonomous automated deriving unit for suburban trains was conceived. However, it was not until 1998 that the first Automatic Driving System (ADS) was industrially manufactured for EMUs and introduced on vehicles operating in Moscow and maintained at Kurovskaya, Zheleznodorozhnaya and Ramenskoye depots. From 2000 onwards, automatic driving and recording systems have been gradually installed on Russian passenger and freight electric locomotives, which was followed by the deployment of the systems on main line and shunting operations in 2004.

Developing Olympic-standard transport infrastructure facilities for Sochi

Preparations for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games began five years before the athletes arrived in the southwestern Russian city for the sporting extravaganza. The almost complete absence of the necessary infrastructure to host such a huge event was a real challenge for Russian Railways (RZD), and required intensive engineering and construction efforts in order to meet strict deadlines. New rail links and tunnels were subsequently constructed, while existing stations, terminals and transport hubs were renovated. Lastochka (Russian for Swallow) EMUs were also introduced and became one of the major attributes of the Olympic transport strategy.

Managing and implementing the Sochi Winter Olympics railway timetable

NIIAS utilised microsimulation to build a passenger flow to forecast passenger use of rail services during the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. The rail timetable subsequently adopted during the Olympics is based on this model and contributed to the successful organisation of safe and efficient passenger services between the various Olympic venues.

EXPO 1520 – at the heart of Eastern Europe’s Railway Industry

The International Rail Salon EXPO 1520 held every odd year in the city of Shcherbinka, near Moscow, is the largest railway exhibition and forum in Eastern Europe and the CIS. The first event was held in 2007 and it has grown with each subsequent edition: in 2007 delegates from 12 countries attended the event, while in 2013 representatives from 25 countries, including exhibitors from Germany, Switzerland, France, China, Poland, and Slovakia took part. Indeed the 2013 show set a world record for the quantity of railway products and vehicles on display in Eastern Europe and the CIS at any one time – 127 vehicle units in total. And with substantial infrastructure and rolling stock investments expected in Russia and the CIS over the next few years, more international rolling stock and component manufacturers are expected to attend the event in the future.

As part of its efforts to secure quality management for purchasing, RZD’s Management Board adopted several measures to ensure that rail vehicle manufacturers respect the IRIS’ international requirements during the development of new products.

Using IPEM indices to monitor Russian industry development in the second quarter of 2014

In 2008, in an effort to improve measurements and to offer a greater understanding of the impact of economic recessions on Russian industry, the Institute of Natural Monopolies Research (IPEM), inspired by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, developed two indices to act as an alternative to the Industrial Production Index (IPI) provided by the Federal Service for National Statistics (Rosstat). IPEM-Production and IPEM-Demand are based on analyses of electrical energy consumption and railfreight volume data. These up-to-date and highly reliable indices do not have many of the drawbacks of IPI and are proven to offer significant value even during economically stable times. In addition, by comparing the dynamics of the production and demand indices, it is possible to accurately assess the probability of an economic and/or industrial downturn occurring.

Russia’s railway services market reacts to significant challenges

2013 was not an easy year for Russian railway transport. Russian Railways (RZD) carried 1.237 billion tonnes of freight in 2013, a 2.8% decline on the previous year. Freight turnover also fell by 1.2% compared with 2012 amounting to 2,195.8 billion tonne-km, although freight turnover including empty running actually increased by 1.1% year-on-year to 2,812.8 billion tonne-km. The average distance of a loaded run also increased by 2% compared with 2012 to 1,574.9 km. The figures were similarly mixed for passenger traffic. RZD carried a total of 1.081 billion passengers in 2013, a 2.1% increase over 2012. However, despite suburban services reporting a 3% increase in passengers to 970.1 million, long-distance passenger traffic fell by 5% year-on-year to 110.7 million passengers, meaning that overall passenger traffic decreased by 4% compared with 2012 to 138.4 billion passenger-km.

The future of Russian Railway Industry

As the Russian and global economies continue to recover from the 2008 global economic crisis, Russia’s railway industry has similarly entered a phase of rehabilitation and renewal. Various measures are now underway to refurbish and renew the country’s rolling stock fleet with the latest state-of-the-art solutions, while a need to answer the increasing demands of service users, as well as the desire to develop competitive domestic products, are all spurring the growth of a revitalised domestic railway sector. However, while the measures taken have enabled some sectors and companies to return to pre-crisis output levels, many companies are struggling to match previous levels of growth.

About new railway technical regulation system in the Custom Union

On August 2, 2014 uniform technical regulations for the operation of railway vehicles came into effect in the Custom Union member-states of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Under the regulation system, a certificate or declaration of compliance is issued by an authorized agency, eliminating the need for additional inspections in each of the member states. The system is supported through a common register of issued and filed certificates and declarations as well as a shared technical regulation database.

The Experience of launching Sapsan and Allegro highspeed trains in Russia

It is impossible to imagine railways in the 21st century without high-speed traffic. Russia has made good progress since it launched its inaugural high-speed project, the deployment of high-speed Sapsan trains between Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Nizhniy Novgorod in 2009 and 2010, which reduced the journey times between the cities significantly. This was subsequently followed by the introduction of the Allegro high-speed service between Saint Petersburg and Helsinki in December 2010. With high occupancy rates on these services, more and more passengers are reaping the benefits of the advanced method of travel, which boasts high-levels of service and reasonable fares.

DP-M: A New-Generation Russian DMU

Metrowagonmash, a subsidiary of Transmashholding JSC, which is located in Mytishchi, near Moscow, has produced railway rolling stock products since it was founded in 1987. In 2013, the plant diversified its product range by introducing its DP-M diesel-multiple unit (DMU). Unveiled at the Fourth International Rolling Stock Exhibition, EXPO 1520, in September 2013, the new train is designed for passenger operations on non-electrified main lines with high traffic volumes.

Cuprum-based alloys with Cd, Mg, Cr, Zr and other metallic additions are used in catenary wiring because of their enhanced durability, strength and resistance to thermal softening. Automatic Driving Systems for Locomotives

Preventive measures designed to improve traffic safety and reduce energy consumption from traction, including automotive processes that eliminate human error, have always warranted special attention. The inaugural intelligently control ‘automatic driving’ solution for rolling stock traction dates back to 1957, when the first trial autonomous automated deriving unit for suburban trains was conceived. However, it was not until 1998 that the first Automatic Driving System (ADS) was industrially manufactured for EMUs and introduced on vehicles operating in Moscow and maintained at Kurovskaya, Zheleznodorozhnaya and Ramenskoye depots. From 2000 onwards, automatic driving and recording systems have been gradually installed on Russian passenger and freight electric locomotives, which was followed by the deployment of the systems on main line and shunting operations in 2004.

Мониторинг ситуации в промышленности на основании индексов ИПЕМ

Индекс ИПЕМ-производство по итогам III квартала продемонстрировал снижение на -0,7% к соответствующему периоду прошлого года. Индекс ИПЕМ-спрос продолжил снижаться более быстрыми темпами: падение по итогам III квартала составило -3,6%. В октябре же индекс ИПЕМ-производство вновь показал уверенный рост (+3,5%), а индекс ИПЕМ-спрос продолжил падение (-4,0%). В целом за январь-октябрь 2013 года рост индекса ИПЕМ-производство составил +0,6%, а индекс ИПЕМ-спрос снизился на -4,5%. (Доступно в pdf)

Техническая диагностика колесных пар: современные методы и средства выявления дефектов

Одной из причин аварий и крушений поездов является разрушение элементов конструкции ходовой части вагонов, вызванное развитием у них скрытых дефектов и появлением усталостных трещин. Вероятность образования и скорость развития таких дефектов напрямую зависят от переменных (циклических) напряжений, возникающих в элементах ходовой части под действием различных сил в процессе движения вагона. Новые смазки для лубрикации рельсов высокоскоростного железнодорожного транспорта

Одним из наиболее эффективных средств повышения долговечности путей железнодорожного транспорта является лубрикация рельсов. Статья посвящена разработке нового смазочного материала для их лубрикации. Новизна данного направления синтеза смазочных материалов состоит в создании устойчивой дисперсии наночастиц алюмосиликатов, получаемых путем химического дробления макрочастиц природных бентонитов. Применяемые смазочные материалы для лубрикации рельсов включают наполнение базовых масел измельченными до мелкодисперсного состояния частицами твердых порошков, как правило графита, что создает проблемы, связанные с седиментацией частиц и засорением фильтров. Возможности решения проблемы износа и скрежета в кривых

Борьба с износом и скрежетом в кривых является целью многих железнодорожных предприятий, особенно тех, которые осуществляют пассажирские перевозки. Для устранения износа и скрежета в кривых должен быть уменьшен или подавлен очаг возникновения вибрации между колесом и рельсом, вызванный «стик-слип» эффектом. Динамическая диагностика элементов пути

Cтальные рельсы являются одним из основных элементов верхнего строения пути во всем мире. Из-за тяжелых эксплуатационных условий в них образуются дефекты. Поскольку любая халатность на железной дороге может привести к человеческим жертвам и существенным финансовым потерям, приоритетной задачей является мониторинг состояния рельсов (дефектоскопия). В работе предложена методика, позволяющая проводить компьютерное моделирование процесса ультразвуковой дефектоскопии, разработан программный комплекс и приведены первые результаты численных расчетов. Мониторинг ситуации в промышленности на основании индексов ИПЕМ: II квартал 2013 года

После негативной динамики в первом квартале 2013 года индекс ИПЕМ-производство по итогам второго квартала продемонстрировал рост на 1,7% к соответствующему периоду прошлого года. Однако индекс ИПЕМ-спрос продолжает снижаться: падение по итогам второго квартала составило -5,3%. Июль же продемонстрировал негативную динамику по обоим индексам: индекс ИПЕМ-производство — -1,9%, индекс ИПЕМ-спрос — -4,8%. В целом за январь-июль 2013 года рост индекса ИПЕМ-производство составил 0,4% (-0,1% за первый квартал, 0,8% за первое полугодие), а индекс ИПЕМ-спрос снизился на -4,9% (-4,8% за первый квартал, -5,1% за первое полугодие). Анализ причин разрушения бандажей локомотивов по знакам маркировки

Проблема разрушения бандажей тягового подвижного состава по знакам маркировки в последнее время в связи с началом эксплуатации локомотивов повышенной мощности приобрела значительную остроту. В статье рассмотрены основные причины разрушения бандажей локомотивов по знакам маркировки. Показано, что разрушение бандажей происходит из-за неблагоприятного сочетания остаточных напряжений, связанных с термической обработкой и запрессовкой бандажа на колесо и усиленных концентратором напряжений (знаки маркировки); облегченным зарождением микротрещин в приграничном к маркировке обезуглероженном слое и низким сопротивлением материала распространению трещины. Мониторинг ситуации в промышленности на основании индексов ИПЕМ: I квартал 2013 года

По итогам первого квартала 2013 года индекс ИПЕМ-производство впервые с момента начала посткризисного восстановления, начавшегося в ноябре 2009 года, показал отрицательную динамику, снизившись на -0,1% к соответствующему периоду прошлого года. Снижение индекса ИПЕМ-спрос оказалось гораздо более ощутимым: -4,8%. На квартальные значения индексов в значительной степени повлияли результаты расчета за февраль, для сопоставимости которых с прошлым годом необходимо выполнять пересчет и корректировку на различное количество дней. Так, с учетом корректировки индекс ИПЕМ-производство даже показал небольшой прирост (+1,0%), а падение индекса ИПЕМ-спрос оказалось чуть менее серьезным (-3,7%). (Доступно в pdf)

Радиус излома на Совете главных конструкторов

В последнее время участились случаи изломов боковых рам тележек, только за I-й квартал произошло 24 излома. В связи с этим 19 марта 2013 года было проведено экстренное заседание Совета главных конструкторов НП «ОПЖТ», в ходе которого отраслевые специалисты и доставили различные научно-исследовательские работы по данной теме. В частности проведены замеры вертикальных, продольных и боковых сил, действующих на боковую раму вагона в процессе эксплуатации, химический анализ структуры и механических свойств металла боковых рам тележек грузовых вагонов. Моделирование динамических нагрузок подвижного состава на стрелочные переводы

На сегодняшний день задача разработки новых более надежных и долговечных конструкций является актуальной. Это в полной мере относится, в частности, к конструкциям стрелочных переводов как одной из наиболее сложных механических систем верхнего строения пути. Для эффективной разработки таких конструкций необходимо еще на этапе проектирования иметь наиболее полное представление о среде, в которой будет функционировать механизм. Основными факторами, действующими на механизм со стороны внешней среды, являются метеорологические условия и нагрузки от подвижного состава. В данной статье описана модель, позволяющая определить нагрузки от подвижного состава в кривых разного радиуса при различных скоростях движения. ТМЭ3 – белорусский маневровый

Белорусская железная дорога проводит приемочные испытания первого двухосного маневрового тепловоза ТМЭ3, произведенного в локомотивном депо Лида в конце 2012 года. Реализация данного проекта является одним из направлений комплексной работы по обновлению тягового подвижного состава. До конца 2014 года планируется изготовить 20 маневровых тепловозов ТМЭ3. Поезд-трансформер. Citadis Dualis – трамвай или электричка?

Для оптимизации транспортного сообщения между урбанизирующимися территориями Западной Европы, Alstom разработал трамвай-поезд, который объединил городское и пригородное сообщение. Citadis Dualis эксплуатируется одновременно на магистральных железнодорожных линиях и городских трамвайных путях – он совместим с сетями 750В/1500В и 750В/25кВ. К основным характеристикам Citadis Dualis относятся его модульная конструкция и 100-процентная низкопольность. ТЭМ31М запускается в массовое производство

ОАО «Желдорреммаш» подготовило новый маневровый тепловоз – ТЭМ31М, который является представителем современных маневровых локомотивов малой мощности (660 л. с.). В основу данного маневрового локомотива легла концепция маневрового локомотива ТЭМ31, разработанная ОАО «ВНИКТИ» в рамках плана научно-технического развития ОАО «РЖД» в 2009-2010 годах. После проведения приемочных испытаний выяснилось, что тепловоз нуждается в доработке, поскольку ряд технических и эргономических показателей не соответствовал нормативной документации. Каждая динамично развивающаяся отрасль промышленности имеет стандарт, содержащий требования к системам менеджмента качества и бизнеса и охватывающий все стадии жизненного цикла продукции. Особое внимание в этих стандартах уделяется выполнению требований по Административному управлению качеством и управлению конфигурацией (международный стандарт ИСО 10007 «Системы менеджмента качества. Мониторинг ситуации в промышленности на основании индексов ИПЕМ: итоги 2012 года

В 2008 году для решения задачи по оперативному и достоверному мониторингу влияния экономического кризиса на российскую промышленность ИПЕМ по инициативе Минпромторга РФ разработал два индеекса альтернативных индексу промышленного производства Росстата: ИПЕМ-производство и ИПЕМ-спрос. По итогам 2012 года индекс ИПЕМ-производство вырос на +3%, индекс ИПЕМ-спрос – на +0,4%. В декабре 2012 года к декабрю 2011 года прирост индекса ИПЕМ-производство составил +3,6%, прирост индекса ИПЕМ-спрос – -1,3. (Доступно в pdf)

К вопросу оценки технической обоснованности назначенных гарантийных сроков эксплуатации локомотивов

Гарантийных срок эксплуатации – один из важнейших критериев потребительского выбора того или иного изделия. Установление ГС на изделие, локомотив в частности, означает, что при поставке этого изделия у поставщика перед получателем возникает обязательство своими силами и средствами безвозмездно устранить отказы изделия и несоответствия качеству и комплектности. При этом суть назначения ГС состоит в обозначении некоторого периода времени, в течение которого действует данное обязательство. Таким образом, ГС – численная величина, выраженная в задаваемых единицах измерения (календарное время, километры пробега, моточасы), в течение которых действуют гарантийные обязательства поставщика. Поддержка грузового вагоностроения – одна из актуальных задач промышленной политики

По состоянию на конец 2012 года парк грузовых вагонов характеризуется умеренной степенью износа – порядка 40%. Ажиотажный рост спроса, наблюдавшийся в последние годы, при котором темпы прироста парка грузовых вагонов в 2 раза опережали темпы прироста объемов перевозок, привели к значительному избытку вагонов. По оценке АНО «ИПЕМ», количество «лишних» вагонов превышает 150-200 тыс. единиц. (Доступно в pdf)

Участившиеся инциденты и аварийные ситуации на железнодорожном транспорте заставляют серьезно задуматься о решении проблемы наблюдения и управления техническим состоянием оборудования всех объектов инфраструктуры на различных этапах их жизненного цикла. Известно, что отсутствие объективного контроля качества изготовления и ремонта оборудования на этапах производства и обслуживания, а также отсутствие наблюдаемости за реальными процессами деградации технического состояния на этапе эксплуатации не позволяют оперативно принимать обоснованные экономически и технически эффективные меры по поддержанию высокого уровня надежности техники. Для эффективного решения задачи контроля объектов путевой инфраструктуры предлагается совместное использование технологии системы технического зрения с технологиями геоинформационного обеспечения объектов. Конечная идентификация объектов путевой инфраструктуры осуществляется алгоритмом верификации пространства детектируемых объектов с электронной геоинформационной картой GPS/ГЛОНАСС координат объектов путевой инфраструктуры. Определение разновидности сложного дефекта отливки «Рама боковая»

В статье рассматривается широко известный и трудно удаляемый дефект отливки «Рама боковая», возникающий в области радиуса R55 под названием «трещина». Проведен системный анализ формирования дефекта с использованием различного увеличения дефектов. Логические исследования позволили установить, что рассматриваемая «трещина» является деформированной металлом газовой раковиной. (Доступно в pdf)

Пионер отечественного паровозостроения

В Невском районе Санкт-Петербурга, на проспекте Обуховской обороны, вдоль Невы, расположились корпуса одного из старейших машиностроительных заводов города. Сегодня это предприятие известно как ОАО «Пролетарский завод». Изделия с его маркой хорошо знакомы судостроителям и энергетикам России, так как созданная здесь продукция эксплуатируется сегодня практически на всех российских и многих зарубежных судах и кораблях. Стабильную нишу занимает ОАО «Пролетарский завод» и в сфере энергомашиностроения. Однако больший интерес представляет тот факт, что в 1845 году из мастерских этого предприятия (в те времена – Александровский главный механический завод) вышел первый российский магистральный локомотив. С 22 по 23 августа в Саратовской области прошла V региональная конференция НП «ОПЖТ» на тему «Пути развития дизелестроения в России. Состояние и перспективы». Она дала возможность крупнейшим предприятиям железнодорожного машиностроения увидеть промышленный потенциал области и обсудить возможности его реализации в совместных проектах по созданию новых образцов продукции и инновационных технологий деятельности. Мониторинг ситуации в промышленности на основании индексов ИПЕМ в III квартале 2012 года

По итогам III квартала 2012 года индекс ИПЕМ-производство вырос на +3,7% к соответствующему периоду прошлого года, индекс ИПЕМ-спрос – на +0,7%. За первые девять месяцев прирост индекса ИПЕМ-производство составил +3,4%, индекса ИПЕМ-спрос составил +1,0%. (Доступно в pdf)

Несмотря на то, что на сегодня разработано множество всевозможных конструкций топливной аппаратуры, с момента создания первого дизельного двигателя до сих пор не решен вопрос: каким же способом производить подачу топлива в цилиндры дизеля? Данная статья посвящена анализу и оценке состояния производства топливной аппаратуры на территории Российской Федерации. Дана оценка перспектив развития топливных систем различного типа. Проблемы и перспективы отечественного дизелестроения

В начале XXI века компании, работающие в области транспортного энергетического машиностроения, сосредоточили усилия на совершенствовании поршневых дизельных двигателей. Нет сомнений, что на ближайшую перспективу дизельные двигатели внутреннего сгорания останутся основным типом первичных двигателей в энергоустановках наземного и водного транспорта, стационарной энергетике. Основными факторами, обеспечивающими преимущество дизельным двигателям перед другими типами силовых установок, являются низкая удельная стоимость, высокая объемная энергоемкость, способность удовлетворять непрерывно ужесточающимся законодательным ограничениям по эмиссии вредных веществ, шуму, экономичности и безопасности. О проектах, реализуемых на предприятии и направленных на достижение высоких показателей дизелей по функционированию, их экологичности и надежности качества изготовления деталей рассказывается в статье. Семейство двигателей нового поколения ОАО «Коломенский завод»

Основными преимуществами дизеля по-прежнему остаются хорошие пусковые свойства, экономичность, способность устойчиво работать в широком диапазоне частот вращения и нагрузок, многотопливность, высокие ресурсные показатели и относительная простота обслуживания. По данным международного конгресса CIMAC дизельные двигатели для транспорта еще несколько десятилетий будут вне конкуренции. В статье изложены особенности конструкции дизелей нового поколения для локомотивов, судов и атомной энергетики, которые создаются ОАО «Коломенский завод» в рамках Федеральной целевой программы. Экономическая эффективность и конкурентоспособность железнодорожного транспорта в основном зависит от уровня динамического взаимодействия колесной пары и рельсовой колеи. По максимально допустимым значениям сил динамического взаимодействия устанавливают предельные значения осевой нагрузки, скорости движения и износа элементов верхнего строения пути и подвижного состава, поэтому снижение уровня динамического взаимодействия колеса и рельса открывает значительные возможности в деле повышения экономической эффективности железнодорожных перевозок.
